Green Hotspot: L’Atelier en herbe in Brussels

IMG_0236Forget about downtown city centre of Brussels. Stroll along the Zavel district. Expensive antique shops, well-known art galleries and famous chocolate shops are all located in this area.

While strolling on this street I fell in love with this flowershop. A true green hotspot and a must visit for all flower lovers.

The flowershop is located in the Flamant interior boutique. Come in and step into flower paradise.

The florist L’Atelier en herbe has its flowershop in a beautiful building in Sablon square, where the Flamant home interior boutique is located. Seasonal flowers and indoor plants are for sale in a well decorated backdrop of black and grey walls.
Customers will be struck by how well the colors complement each other and the detail in the bouquets which are displayed at the front of the shop in vases that are also for sale. A little courtyard that leads from the back of the shop houses garden plants, which are to be planted in the ground or in pots.

L’Atelier en herbe also offers flower arranging for adults and children and many activities to do with flowers. You can place orders and discover new products on their website.

Special thanks to…

I am really thankful for the tips Paul from Excquibru gave me before I traveled to Brussels in August. I met him on Twitter, when I was asking for green hotspots in Brussels.

If you are visiting here, please contact him. He can tell you everything there is to know about the gems of Brussels in art, antiques, architecture and the world of interior design. What is a better place to get to know the city, than to contact a local! Visit his site at

    1. Dear Lenie, thanks for your comment. I would like to say you’re welcome ;-), but I only wrote an article about the shop, I am not working there. If you got bouquets from L’Atelier en herbe they must be beautiful! Enjoy them.
