Flower impressions in France

At this moment our family is enjoying a great summer vacation in France. This country is filled with flowers.

IMG_1870-2 A lot of towns are called ‘ville fleurie’ – flower towns. Windows of houses are filled with beautiful hanging geraniums and seasonal plants. Town councils invest in flowering borders around sport areas and play grounds. It’s a delight to walk around here. I love France.

During my morning walk I found Wisteria draped around the walls of the castle. I have never seen it cut that way.

These two weeks my posts will be about the flower jewels I find in France. I hope you enjoy it!
